The Double Up comp. as requested!. The bands on this compilation qualified directly to swedish ROCK SM 1987. Don't mind the back-cover of the album, it lists the songs in the wrong order, lucky enough it came with a note of the correct tracklist.

The genres differs a lot, with everything from pop / aor to some real heavy metal killers!, BLACKBIRD, BLIZZARD, METAL AXE and FAIRY TALES to name a few examples. Also a quite amazing and catchy melodic track by ATTENTION totally worth to check out!.. Blizzard's song "Fading Away" differs from the MLP they put out later the same year, here in a bit rougher version!. The same with HAZY's "King of the Universe". Vanguard also contributed with a song "All Night Long".

Blackbird - Rise are by far my favorite and also the biggest reason I hunted down this album, the band was from Finspång and contained members from Blizzard (same band featured on this comp and released the MLP "Fading Away"). Besides this comp.track Blackbird also recorded a demo around the same time 86/87. The band are still active today - mostly playing Judas Priest covers!.
