Uploader Notes: R.A.F. was one of the most important and talented italian metal bands in the 80s,
they released two full lenght and a mini lp,opened for bands as Metallica,Manowar and played at the 1988 M.O.R. festival with Kiss,Iron Maiden,Helloween and Anthrax, but Battaglion and Riso at that time made the mistake to play in the backing band of Jovanotti (an italian rapper)losing the favor and the respect of the italian metalheads, disputes and insults made history, especially during the gigs with Manowar in 1989 when the entire audience filled them with spittle, coins and offensive choirs and turning back during their show... so R.A.F. disbanded(anyway some of them were involved in other
projects),in 2012 the band at the insistence of Paolo Scuri (an old friend of the band and the promoter of this festival)reunited only to play exclusively this unique show!!!
I also included some pics from this show(included one of the setlist, as you can see there R.A.F. played Storytellers instead of Last Dive), please note that i did not split the tracks, enjoy!!!

All songs are taken from the first period of the band, later they changed sound by recording two albums(Due and Big City)in a melodic hard rock way before quitting in the 90s;in 2008 Elektradrive(now a four piece)reunited and recorded a new album in 2009(Living 4)and alive and well since then,i also included some rare pics (a couple were taken that night at the gig...),enjoy!!!

Rip and share by nonseinormale65, thanks a lot!!.
Uploader Notes: Rod Sacred hailed from Sardegna and were founded in 1982 as a cover band, after many line up changes recorded a first demo in 1985,in 1989 Paolo Bonilli (one of the guitar players)died in a car accident but the band decided not to replace him as a sign of respect, after many live dates finally RS(in 1990)published their first self titled full lenght album who was very well received by italian and foreign magazines but, as usual in the italian metal scene of that era, they didn't achieved no commercial success and the band was put on hold for some years.
In 1996 Rod Sacred reunited with some changes in the line up and released(only on mc tape as a private pressing and publishing it a year later)their second album called "Sucker of Souls",poorly circulated found no feedback enough from labels and public and finally Rod Sacred disbanded though the musicians continued to play in different projects, pictures scans included, enjoy!

Rip and share by nonseinormale65, thankyou!!.
Uploader Notes: Spock was a short lived band from Rome(Italy) this is their only effort on vinyl(needless to say it's quite rare!),soon after the recording Spock quitted, musically they did not have a clear line(some tracks reminds of the AC/DC's hard/Boogie,a couple seems inspired by early Van Halen stuff and some others sounds like a mix of Prog/Rock and post Punk/New Wave...),there are very few news about them,
I just found out that the bass player actually is Stefano Pistolini who later became a well known writer(he wrote also a Nick Drake's biography),journalist and filmmaker, enjoy!!!

Rip and share by nonseinormale65, thanks man!
Uploader Notes: Crazy Band (not to be confused with other bands with the same name) started in Torino(Italy)in 1974, heavily influenced by Kiss, New York Dolls and the glam rock scene of the 70s (both in music and look), recorded this rare EP live in the studio in 1977;they quit at the beginning of the 80's but reunited and split again several times since then but only releasing
a couple of 7" of mainstream rock and using italian lyrics as always in their records, also some old videos can be found on Youtube.
Please note that on the vinyl on both sides track number one fades into track number two,so i decided to not split the tracks, enjoy!!!

Label: Metalnews #NEWS 001
Genre: Thrash Metal
Country: Italy (Genova)
Bitrate: 256kbps
►Get it at the Forum
Rip and share by nonseinormale65, thanks!
Uploader Notes: Mad Poltergeist were formed in Genova from the ashes of Henker
(another thrash metal band), they had an anti-Christian attitude, but devoted to the story in different keys-from comic to tragic of the theater iconography that revolves around the way people present certain aspects of the religion, while musically the Bay Area thrash was a clear and constant reference point. The funny and irreverent attitude of the band was also manifested by the choice of the artwork of Mad 'n' Damn,it is(if memory serves me correctly) none other than "The School of Athens" by Raffaello, in which the artist - populated it of all the philosophers and thinkers known for theiratheist choice in an ironic rather than profane key.
After a demo MP signed a deal with Metalnews Records(a short lived labelrun by A.C. Wild of Bulldozer) for this EP,note that the record contained a picture of Dylan Dog(a famous italian comic strip by Bonelli publisher) now considered a collector's item, and the fact that the band struck a deal with the Bonelli important collaboration (Dylan Dog number 30 is titled Poltergeist), who saw published an article about them before their live performance at the Dylan Dog Horror Fest. In addition,a 45rpm must be attached to a number of comics, resulting in mega publicity for the band, with a view to a full lenght album. The project, however, never materialized because of the mental disorders that affected the poor Franco Cedro, which eventually led him to suicide, causing a human tragedy and the end of the band;picture scans included in the rar, enjoy!!!
