Uploader Notes: Rod Sacred hailed from Sardegna and were founded in 1982 as a cover band, after many line up changes recorded a first demo in 1985,in 1989 Paolo Bonilli (one of the guitar players)died in a car accident but the band decided not to replace him as a sign of respect, after many live dates finally RS(in 1990)published their first self titled full lenght album who was very well received by italian and foreign magazines but, as usual in the italian metal scene of that era, they didn't achieved no commercial success and the band was put on hold for some years.
In 1996 Rod Sacred reunited with some changes in the line up and released(only on mc tape as a private pressing and publishing it a year later)their second album called "Sucker of Souls",poorly circulated found no feedback enough from labels and public and finally Rod Sacred disbanded though the musicians continued to play in different projects, pictures scans included, enjoy!
