Bio: This band took form in the summer 1987 with the remaining members of the Tucson local band ALLISAN and the new vocalist Adrian Urbina. We now had SAGE MERIDIEN. They started working on new original songs for their first demo, also learning a few cover songs of their style. Then started playing shows in early '88, preparing themselves to get in the studio to record their first album of songs. They went in the studio from Dec. of '88 to Feb. of '89. It was recorded at Perkin's Studio in Tucson, AZ. on 16-track analog. Unfortunately at the completion of the recording bassist Matt Federof decided to step out of the band for personal reasons to be replaced by Duane Hollis who would go on to play with Denny in SHOK HILARY, and then GREYHOUND SOUL. Then shortly after Matt's departure drummer Richard McKinley did the same for similar reasons. He was replaced by drummer Jason Lashbrook for the remainder of SAGE. So guitarists Denny and Kelly weren't giving up that easy they stuck with it and worked with the new rhythm section to see if they could keep the dream alive as they say. The band existed for just over another year before calling it quits because of weak internal relations in the band. http://www.myspace.com/sagemeridien
