This is the debut LP of ATTACK, mostly known for the song "Ooa Hela Natten" which sold platina back in the days. They got the title "Vampyr Rock" from the french band SHAKIN STREET album 'Vampire Rock (1978)'. The music-style of this debut is more punk/rock then pop which they later adapted on the albums 'Rätt Stuk (1981)' and 'Full Fart Framåt (1982)'.
Features drummer Åke Eriksson (Bedlam Erixson) of BEDLAM, WASA EXPRESS & KEBNEKAJSE . Guitarist Björn Uhr of SOLID GROUND. Bassist Peter "PJ" Jägerhult of TRASH, also producer of BISCAYA'S debut album. The vocalist Rosa Körberg is the sister of the well-known swedish singer/actor Tommy Körberg.

At first i didn't even bothered to hear it,after seeing the labels for it's style,but after hearing their more metallic single,i got interested.The style here is more rock,melodic,with some elements of melodic punk too!The whole outcome reminds me a bit the first PAT BENATAR album! Surprisingly enough,i can safely say i like this lp,even if it's not heavy at all and even if it's poppy at times!Shame on me!STRAPPADO,thanx for this weird obscurity!!
