I always wanted to pick up this album once I heard of it but could never find it, as it was already out of print 4 years after its release. It was an Angel renaissance period for me, after getting the "White Hot" album in '77. So in '84 I searched out all their other albums, finding one of the last new copies of "Sinful", the rest I bought used. All but this one, so that's the beauty of the internet, allowing me to finally hear this. In FLAC format even, thanks to the original uploader, killer encoding!
Angel were obviously a LIVE band, with a mindblowing show, but they also jammed out more, knew how to work the crowd, and were a lot heavier in the live setting. Check out the heavy version of "Tower" and Punky's killer guitar playing throughout the album! It's a Rocker's (On Earth As It Is In) Heaven indeed! From the "White Hot" tour, perfect choice for an Angel live album!
