Hell yeah one of my favorite obscure NWOBHM bands Deep Machine are back together again! John Wiggins and Andy Wrighton (who currently are recording and are about to go on tour with Tokyo Blade) have been replaced with the new members Lenny Baxter (Vocals) and bass player John Riley who are rehearsing new and old songs for a hopefully official release in the near future. I recommend you to head over to their Myspace Page for more info and full streaming of their 1981 demo all remastered!. -Link-
A few words from Bob Hooker himself:
Rehearsals are going well.....we have been playing the same songs, but the overall result is much heavier than before due to dropping down to D tuning.
Some of the songs have had some minor 'tweeks' to make them sound 'heavier' in certain sections....the songs that have changed are: The Wizard, Iron Cross, and Fantasy World.
Future recording....at present we are concentrating on getting the news guys totally ready, then we'll probably play a couple of low-key support slots....then we'll be ready to go back into the studio to 'finish what we started' once and for all!
