Stampij (English translation is Stampede) was a radio show in the early eighties on the Dutch Radio provided by the KRO radio station which was a Catholic station!!! Broadcast-ed only once a week on Wednesdays. It was hosted by Hanneke Kappen, who at one time was the front woman of the Hard Rock band 'White Honey', posted earlier on this blog by Strappado and shared by BE and Lord Bones. As being the DJ of the show she was immortalized in the song 'Hanneka' by Bitches Sin on their album 'Predator'.
This particular show was broadcast-ed on 29 July 1981.
Only one track is eluding me and that is track 12. On a side note: Hanneke had on that day a guy (Frits) in the studio who brought in the compilation album 'Heavy Metal Heroes' and according to Frits this comp was not even out in the UK. And it was already broadcast-ed in Holland! Oooh that comp is posted here. From the comp was played the Grim Reaper track and Bitches Sin.
Thanks to Strappado and Anonymous for additional info!

I haven't checked out this one yet, but could "Street Fighting Lady" be the one from Quartz?
It is. How dumb am I!! Couldn't put my finger on it. Shame shame Lordie....
haha nothing to be ashamed of, sometimes the brain won't work as it should!
Hmm how about the song "Set me free?" I know White Honey did a live perfomence playing this one song entitled "Set Me Free, Heartbreak Lover" but seems a little weird if she plays her own music in the show haha.
I will download this as fast as possible, need to clean up the computer first to get some space!
Maybe weird but then again she played a song by The Rods (music man) who covered 'Nothing going in the City'.
haha well yeah seems like she like her own music :)
Btw there is not DL link ;]
Link now posted! Ooops
But the first track might be Grim Reaper! Well the first track is from a compilation album which contains this track, Bitches Sin and Medusa. Medusa might the same one where Steve Grimmet was in before moving to Grim Reaper.
I found the Medusa track. It's called Heartburn. The singer is actually a female, Cheryl Alexander.

I also found the compilation that the Bitches Sin track is from - http://cgi.ebay.com/HEAVY-METAL-HEROES-NWOFBHM-ALBUM-MINT-/220712548557?pt=UK_Records&hash=item33637e38cd
Really??? A female singer?? Wow. Now I am listen to it again, yeah indeed a female. Great voice. Now I am curious about the band LOL
Thanks for helping out!!
No problem, anytime!
This is what I like about us true Metalheads! Helping each other to fill in the gaps of information, even on an obscure radio show, well not obscure for us Dutch dudes LOL.
But you know what I mean. I have learned more stuff about the show I have listen to faithfully every week between 5 and 6 on Wednesday.
