Force (not to be confused with Force/Europe) was a heavy metal band from Åsa outside Gothenburgh, Sweden formed by Sven Lorentzon - Guitar/Backing Vocals (Bakrus, Smiling Heart), Kent Andresson - Bass, Johan Söderberg - Vocals & Pär Hessler - Drums. They where heavily incluenced by 70's hard rock, also NWOBHM and bands such as Raven, Anvil, Motörhead, Witchfinder General, The Rods and Manowar. Force played at local pubs and also recorded some stuff in the studio (Ljudspåret Göteborg...where EF-band did their stuff), but nothing happend since the members where quite young at the time and didnt know what 2 do to get further. They also had a side-project at the same time, a band called NIXZ with a female vocalist (Marianne Bartholdsson). 3 songs recorded with them are included in the archive! also live and studio recordings with Force!.
