Max Planck was a three piece Heavy Metal band based out of Port Townsend, Washington. They performed in various venues in Northwest Washington State throughout the 1980s. They became infamous as the "Road Warriors' band in many festival parades in the mid to late '80s. They recorded a demo tape called "Kill the Pain" at Studio One in West Seattle in February of 1985. Many copies were sold to metalheads throughout the world especially in Eastern Europe. "Starscream" appeared on the "Metal Meltdown" compilation produced by Subway Productions out of Seattle.
