Before "Spectrum of Death" was released by Avanzada Metallica in 1989, the recording was released as a demo entitled “Lock Up Your Children” in 1988.
It includes the exact same songs as found on Spectrum of Death, but released separately before the band had a label. The only difference is a slight change in pitch and tempo.
The demo cover was drawn by Jay Visser’s sister, and were hand colored red and green by band members. This demo was limited to only about 200 copies, all of which sold quickly in Milwaukee, Sheboygan and surrounding areas in WI.
They also had another cover art for the "Spectrum Of Death"album but changed it.
It was later used as the cover on their "Destruction System" Demo.
Original Cover Art / Demo (1988)
1. | Lock Up Your Children |
2. | Burned at the Stake |
3. | Assassin |
4. | Damien |
5. | Crying for Death |
6. | Spectrum of Death |
