Uploader Notes: Strappado's blog has got the Dreamstate 'Beyond the Mirrors' demo posted. I'd like to add this song that I actually got from the former DREAMSTATE bassist Chris Herring himself. I am a big POWER OF OMENS fan and after DREAMSTATE Chris Herring played in POWER OF OMENS for a few years.
I got in contact with POWER OF OMEN'S guitarist David Gallegos to ask him if he had POWER OF OMEN'S demo from 1996. I also asked him if he knew if Chris Herring had any demos from his time in DREAMSTATE. I had found the 'Beyond the Mirrors' demo online, but would have preferred a physical copy. David, who is the nicest guy you could imagine, forwarded my mail to Chris and Chris sent me a mail with the song "Mind Gallery" added to the mail. In Chris' own words:
"Thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad you were able to locate a copy of the DREAMSTATE material online. I was contacted about that release some time ago out of the blue and was completely shocked that there were copies of that floating around overseas, and that one or more copies had apparently made it in digital format online as well as even Ebay. LOL.
I have included a copy in this email of one other song that was released as part of a compilation of local bands in Dallas/Ft Worth at the time; it's actually one of my favorite DREAMSTATE (actually we were called MINDGALLERY by that time) tracks; the track itself is also entitled "Mind Gallery".
