Info:
AXITT was a hard rock / heavy metal band from Holland who was active from middle 80's to 1991. The group featured guitarist Dicky Peterse of LACE (who released the 7" 'Linda / Good Morning' in -83). AXITT recorded at least one demo and released a private LP in 1990 entitled 'Room 15'. They also made promo videos for the songs "Break the Chain" and "Checking out the Girls". Their first video "Checking out the Girls" made it to the Sky Channel's "Monsters of Rock" show and was broadcasted over 80 times.
Hans van Terheijden - Vocals
Corné Speek - Bass / Backing Vocals
John Konings - Drums / Backing Vocals

Uploader Notes: This time something for the Hard Rock fans. Here's a rare live recording from
a band called TREDEGAR (ex-BUDGIE) in a club (can't remember where) on 22nd of July 1983.
Ray Philips - Drums
Tony Bourge - Guitar
Alan Fish - Base
Ian Hornsby - Vocals
Tredegar was formed in the early 1980's by Ray Phillips and Tony Bourge, effectively two thirds of the legendary Welsh rock band Budgie. The launch of Tredegar would tie in nicely with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. In addition to Ray Phillips and Tony Bourge, the early line-up of Tredegar featured Ian Hornsby on vocals and Alan Fish on bass. The early line-up would prove popular on the club scene, often including Budgie classics in their live set. Following the departure of Alan Fish (who went on to join The Grounhogs) Tom Prince took up bass duties. The band would evolve to the stage where they were ready to put together their debut album. At this point their sound had also moved to a more modern direction. Sadly, more upheavel followed when Tredegar found themselves minus a vocalist just before the recording of their debut. Persian Risk and Tokyo Blade frontman Carl Sentence performed vocals on their self financed record which saw Tredegar go on to make a name for themselves. Five hundred copies of their self titled debut were coated in genuine gold leaf, resulting in a very attractive package as well as making them largely collectable in today's market.
If you listen closely you can hear where some of the early Mercyfull Fate songs got inspiration from (listen to the riff on Napoleon Part 1 & 2 originally by Budgie)

Rip and share by ron1965, thanks!
Uploader Notes: I Couldn´t find that much information of this Dutch Heavy Metal band. They used to called HIGHWAY, but since there was another Dutch band with this name, they changed their name into RANCID. I can´t tell if they ever released something officialy. This is a four song FM broadcast from 1984, broadcasted by the Dutch station KRO, who used to have a show called Rocktempel. I can´t remember the exact date and venue for this show.

This is the 2nd single of RISING. Their first release was the solid heavy metal masterpiece 'Metal Bird / She’s Got Bright Eyes (1982)' on Pang Records. Be warned though, this single sounds nothing like their earlier work. After RISING'S former vocalist Paul Utter left the band in 1985 the band split-up. This was a reformation with a new vocalist + line-up change. I'm sad to say it but RISING falled into the 90's mainstreem AOR-trap and never made it back up alive again.

Their 10-track demo can be found here: Avalon - Unleashed Power [Demo] (1987)
Founded in Copenhagen during 1986, traditional metal act AVALON would record at least two demos in 1987. During 1985, before joining AVALON, drummer Kenneth had briefly occupied the drum stool for MALTESE FALCON. John Mathias was the vocalist in ARTILLERY for a period. AVALON guitarist Ken 'C. Jack' Jacobsen would later go on to found DARK MISSION. Later on along with erstwhile AVALON colleague singer John Mathias, Ken Jack relocated to the United States to form UNLEASHED POWER. Flemming Kenneth later became drum technician for METALLICA'S drummer Lars Ulrich (According to info from Rockdoc).

BLUE BOY also released at least one more demo, if someone have it please get in touch!.
You can find 2 songs from it here.
Lars "Speedy" Johansson - Guitar (Yokun) - 19 yo
Kenth Johansson - Bass (Arabens Anus) 20 yo
Freddy Åberg - Guitar / Vocals (Yokun) 19 yo
Jan "Linda" Lindström - Drums (Arabens Anus) 19 yo
BLUE BOY was formed in early 1981 as a cover band playing mostly IRON MAIDEN and SAXON covers. Jan and Kenth had previously played in the well-known Swedish punk band ARABENS ANUS. Lars and Freddy had played together in YOKUN. They got their name BLUE BOY from the american gay-magazine with the same name and in the very beginning they all played under alias: Steve Homo, Nick Gay, Freddy Gaypimp och Ralph MacFikus. This wasn't anything agains homosexual's it was just a fun thing as the leather-culture had become so popular in metal-scene at this point. They loved what they did and took it very seriously. Their songs where also a tribute to the bands they admired; Saxon, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Tank, Judas Priest, Sabbath, Riot etc.
In early 1981 Freddy and Jan began writing their own songs such as "Beast of prey", "Hell Of A Night", "The Summons" etc. They did their live debut in February -81 at a little rock club in their hometown Kristinehamn. 250 headbangers where there to see them and they became totally run over by the band.
BLUE BOY'S music is fast yet polished metal, the songs contain a lot of guitars and loops and the choruses are often very melodic, "Taste of Victory" is a fateful song in the quiet pace, perhaps Sweden's first metal symphony?, "Flash In The Night" and "The summons" is energic songs with ripping, catchy guitars, "Live or Die", got grinding bass and ripping guitars.

1. Claws
2. Run Away
3. Victim of Yourself
Here is a review taken from the Cross of Iron Fanzine #1 (1988):
IDLE THREAT is a fairly new band on the New York metal scene. Their demo tape, Elmo Rocks, is a beautiful recording (8 track) and sports three tunes, none of which sound the same. The first track, "Claws", has a distinct'70s sound and riffs away. Their next track, "Run Away", is [gasp! -Eds] a love song [taboo! taboo! -Eds]. Yeah, that's right, an honest to God metal love song (and it ain't bad either). The last track, "Victim of Yourself", is a definite basher. This is a good demo but there's just one smaaaall problem: the vocals. Really high-pitched [2600 Hz? -Eds] nasal whines that have an effect similar to that of dog whistles. Other than that, the tape is a steal at a mere $2.00.

There was some news in 2006 about a reunion: Blabbermouth.
I don't know if this ever happend though. Check out the band's Facebook Page for more info.

The 7" single 'Lunatic / Warrior' of TROTYL. Great pounding heavy metal with an A-side that should please every metalhead out there!. This outstanding GEM was manufactured at the famous Balkanton LP factory 1988 with pro-printed picture jackets, strictly limited to 400 copies - some of the copies were sold during band's live performances 1988-1991, and then the band suddenly called it a day fading away and the rest of the remaining copies were put in a cellar and forgotten.
