Here is the long time requested demo of CC French, totally instrumental and totally AWESOME!. Ultra recommended!. I asked CC for some info about this tape and this was what he had to say about it:
CC: The CC FRENCH stuff was all recorded at home on a Sansui 8 track digital cassette machine which was ok for a while, but being cassette and double speed mastering, guitar tracks tended to develop a lot of 'wow and flutter' after a few plays when overdubbing so became redundant fairly quickly but considering some of the sounds, I got away with a lot !!! The drums were programmed by me on a roland dr 808 a very cool drum machine from the late 80's but very user friendly if labourious in inputting a full kit. It's cool that you mentioned 'Plasmagasm' as I really liked that one, that most people that heard it, overlooked. A bit like 'Tear Out Your Heart' on the the Sweet Cheater - 'Desire and Lust' demo which was a bit of a fight to get recorded by the guys, a great livetrack that they were unsure would work on tape!
The CC FRENCH stuff would have been recorded over the post Christmas holidays 1992 as my youngest was inspiration for 'New Born Son'
