Ultra rare promo/demo single from WIZZY BLAZE said to have been pressed in only 50 copies.
Originally created under the name of SYRINX in 1983 adopting the title WIZZY BLAZE in 1985.
Vocalist John Royce (real name Anders Jönsson) later became bassist in ACES HIGH and SYRON VANES. Drummer Jörgen Olsson later played with MACHINEGUN KELLY and NASTY IDOLS.

This single was never released, only a few test-presses are known to exist (1-3). The band features vocalist Mikael "Big Hozz" Fredriksson of SLEAZY ROZE and GRAND VISION. Also drummer Daniel Gese of DIZZINESS, POLE POSITION, GRAND VISION, etc.
BIO:
Founded in 1980 by: Per Frimodig: Drums, Paul Marshall: Bass, Billy Johansson: Guitar, Mike Voice: Vocals.
BHATA started playing in Norrköping Sweden 1980 a few demos were recorded but the band built its reputation as a strong and crazy stage performance, which contained much smoke, bombs and props. That lineup made a classic performance at Skandia theater in Norrköping 1980. Then the band's reputation as one of Sweden's best heavy metal band was founded.
One single: 'On The Edge of Life / Lucifer's Friend' was recorded in 1990, this single was only available as a test press. BHATA had an appearance on TV4 East in 1994. The band are working on a new CD to be released in 2012.

Freddie Field (Fredrik Feld) was a solo guitarist influenced by STEVE VAI and VAN HALEN.
He released the one and only single 'Losing In Communication / Drop Dead' on the Platina label in 1989 where he took help from the YALE BATE musicians Andreas Claesson (Andy Clarke) and Jakob Samuelsson (Jake Samuel).
Jake have also played in TALISMAN and had fame with THE POODLES (one of ten finalists in Melodifestivalen 2006).

HIGHKICK was a band from Enköping, Uppsala active between 1985 - 1988.
They recorded several demos and won a local competition in Enköping, they also attended Rock-SM 87 and 88.
Jimmy Tripolitsiotis attended "Lilla Melodifestivalen" in 1990. He are today active in the Gothenburg band STILLKNOCKED.

Uploader Notes: Steel Crown were founded in 1977 in Trieste under the name of "Corona d'Acciaio(Steel Crown in english), recorded several demo tapes,a mini lp and a full length album in the 80s,played a lot of gigs and Yako De Bonis was one of the prominent figure in the Italian metal scene... after his death in a motorcycle accident the band soon disbanded(a short reunion took place in 2007 with a different singer only for a couple of show),i ripped this show directly from the original tape,Steel Crown opened for Dark Lord that night (i'll soon upload them) please note that i did not split the tracks,enjoy!!!

Uploader Notes: There are only two songs on the actual studio part of the demo. The other three songs on the tape are live at the Shaker High School (Albany) battle of the bands.
Sound quality is a little rough around the edges, especially the live tracks but considering they were recorded in a high school gym back in '85 they still sound pretty decent.

Uploader Notes: Kinetic Dissent had its origin in Atlanta and was a long-lost progressive thrash band, along the lines of a Forté or a Inner Strength. They recorded two demos in the late 80's. A full length LP was released in 1991, "I Will Fight No More Forever". The band broke up while they were working on a followup.

Uploader Notes: Equinox was formed in 1990 by Danie Powers and Steve Murray. The group produced a self-financed, three song demo in '92. Then changed their name to Powers Court soon after.
I have been searching for this demo for a long time so you can imgine how stoked I was when it turned up on youtube. I just wish the sound quality was a little better but beggars can't be choosers.
