After leaving Steeler Yngwie joined Alkatrazz. At the 18th of November Alkatrazz had a gig planned at Wolfgangs in San Fransisco. But Graham Bonnett, their singer (yeah, the one from Rainbow) was sick. Yngwie felt sorry and wanted to play anyway. It's ended up being a messy gig as one can hear. Bass and drums are played by members of Anvil Chorus.

ALKATRAZZ, hailing from Maidstone in Kent and fronted by Australian singer Craig Stevens (real name Craig Pinkney), toured as support on a three band package with TYGERS OF PAN TANG and MAGNUM. The group was assembled during 1980. Scoring a deal with major label RCA Records ALKATRAZZ debuted in 1981 with the album 'Youngblood'. Second set 'Radio 5' followed in 1982.
During the Spring of 1983 former SAMSON and IRON MAIDEN drummer Clive Burr figured in the ranks. Burr would later join PRAYING MANTIS, TRUST, GOGMAGOG and ELIXIR.
