Not to be confused with the JOHN VERITY fronted band of the same name. English NWOBHM act, Phoenix Rising released the 'Phoenix Rising' EP in 1981 and then disappeared.
Also to note is that the band's record label was the same as Holocaust, Phoenix Records. The band is not listed on Metal Archives, perhaps another case of another purge.
