One of the earliest Brazilian metal bands, and among the first ones to release an album. In fact their early start has led bassist/vocalist Roosevelt "Bala" to object against the traditional view that Metallica was the first thrash metal band, claiming that Stress "is the true creator of the style because they played as fast and heavy as Metallica in "Kill 'em All", besides being older, and they have released an album before ("Stress" was released in 1982, while "Kill 'em All" was released in 1983)."
