Release: 3 Demo Tracks, 1991
Genre: Epic Heavy Metal with Doom influences
Country: Sweden (Sörberge)
Bitrate: 160kbps
►RGhost / Mediafire
These 3 tracks are taken from the "One Cloudy Day" demo which was released in 1991, it's also the only material I have with Epic Irae and desperatly looking for any of their demos. Please send me a mail if you have anything for share, sale or trade: strappado@live.se
The photo shows an early (nameless) incarnation of the band - it was taken in early 1989 some months before the name Epic Irae was chosen. The guitarist with the black shirt is Peter Selin - who later showed up as the bass player in Left Hand Solution. They later changed their name into Quicksand Dream and released an CD-R album in year 2000 limited to only 30 copies. High Roller Records will release it on vinyl this year - Info

Hi! I am Göran, the singer of Epic Irae/Quicksand Dream. About the old Epic Irae demos, they were all very limited editions - we made about 30 each of the first two tapes (all copied tape to tape at home) and bassist Patrick made very few copies of the last demo, A Lonely World, for us (then former) bandmates and some of our friends to enjoy. The recordings of that "final" demo was actually finished after the band had changed name and folded, but as the recordings had begun in 1991 he decided to put the Epic Irae tag onto it. I have been bugging Patrick about making all the demos available for download. He has all of them digitalized as soundfiles, but since we want them to sound as good as possible we need to polish them a bit before unleashing them. When that is done I'll sure post them on the Corroseum forum.
