44 Magnum is one of the best known Japanese bands in the world and drew attention for its strong visual and varied sounds, winning Japan in the 80's. The band was formed in 1977, by vocalist Tatsuya Umehara "Paul," which drew in 1979 Satoshi Hirose guitarist Jimmy, bassist Hironori Yoshikawa "Ban" Teruyuki Iga and drummer to join the band. In 1981 they participated alongside "Earthshaker" and "Marino" in the "Kansai 3 Heavy Metal Band," a tour of three major heavy metal bands from Japan, where 44 Magnum was the main band. In 1982 drummer Teruyuki Iga left the band and in his place came Miyawaki Satoshi "Joe",who became the band's final drummer and that same year 44 Magnum played with Marino on the CD "Kansai Tokyo Nagurikomi Gig Heavy Metal Vol.1 ". Soon after this comes out in 83, band's first album "Danger."
