Uploader Notes: Female fronted Leicester act MASQUE began life as WILD CHILD in 1985, with Jo Phipps on drums. Changing name to MASQUE in 1986 and releasing a demo 'Confined Insanity' in 1988 the demo and live shows found bass player Pete Jensko unfortunately besotted with imitating IRON MAIDEN's Steve Harris.

Simon Turner was to replace original guitarist Steve Clements, although by mid 1989 Turner was out in favour of guitarist Andy Baxter and the band added keyboard player James Ashley. MASQUE's debut release, 'Dead Of The Night', received many commendable reviews, but the group eventually broke up.
