Debut and only official release from CEMETARIUM (ex-OTAKT) which was based in Älvsjö, Stockholm. They also had some songs included on the compilation albums 'Really Fast vol. 5', 'Hard, Raw And Fast' and 'Son of Bllleeeeaaauuurrrrgghhh!'. The album was recorded at Tom-Tom Studios in June '88. Engineered by Thomas Wretman. Mixed by Jocke Ståhlfors & Patrick Båkman in August 1988 and issued by Chickenbrain Records [#CEM 1]. Logo design by Kjell Wiberg & the awesome back-cover was designed by Carina Soe-Knudsen.
At first I found the album fuckin' terrible but gave it a second chance and some spins later I actually got into it. It is for sure not an easy listened record we are dealing with here so get ready for a noisy mix of speed / thrash blended with punk/hardcore vocals (Hell I think I even heard some SARCOFAGO screams). There is also some parts with really awesome heavy metal riffing. The vocalist seems to be more into punk while the rest of the band concentrates on playing speed/thrash, this mix get's kinda awkward. They should have kept their former name OTAKT (OUT OF STEP) which describes the band perfectly!.
Recommended songs are "I am the Future", "Dimma På Okänd Ort" "Surrounded by Idiots" and "Livets Sjuka Ord".
