Uploader Notes: Here is a link to a rip from a tape I have (with various of stuff on it) for a two songs from a band called PRESENCE. I seem to recall that no one I talked to back then could tell me anything on this band. From their sound I'd say the are from the USA. The songs are called "Constrictor" (a cross between Rapid Fire and early Metallica) and "Stringer" (far more hard rock oriented song). Besides that I have no info on this band whatsoever. If anyone have any information about the band please get in touch.
Update: PRESENCE was from Madison, Wisconsin. These 2 songs was featured on the compilation album "Wisconsin's Best Rock Album '81". Shawn Christensen has the songwriting credits for "Constrictor" but no more info are given on the line-up. Thanks to fanaticaboutconcerts for commenting and sharing this information on the Youtube clip.
