Recorded at Humlan Studio, autumn 1984 produced by Anders Helmersson / Executive producer Ola Håkansson. Engineered by Lino Aiello and Anders Helmersson. Mixed at Park by Fredrik Lilienberg and Leif Paulsén. Front / Back sleeve by Jodde, Inner sleeve by Björn Raite. Published by Sonet Grammofon AB in 1985. The album have also been reissued on CD by the Japanese label Sound Holic Records [#SHCD1-0005].
UNIVERSE also contributed with the songs "Looking for an Answer" & "Burning Machine" on the 1984 Sonet Records compilation 'Swedish Metal', also partipicated on the 'Sommarrock 84' comp with the songs "Stories from the Old Days" and "Strong Vibrations" (recorded live).
Kjelle Wallén are today a troubadour making his own music, he can be found at Myspace.
Janne Åström (later Vocalist) are today mostly active as an actor, more info at his Official Website.

Swedish compilation issued by Sonet Records [#SMLP-1]. Produced and compiled by Anders Helmerson. Recorded Spring-Winter 1984 at Humlan Recording Studios and Park Studio. All songs mixed in Park Studio except for "Wisdom Train" and "The Heater is Hot" by SHED which was recorded and mixed at B-Studio (Decibel).
First out is UNIVERSE here contributing with the songs "Looking for an Answer" and "Burning Machine". These songs would later appear in same versions on their self-titled masterpiece debut released in 1985.
MOTHERLODE: "Moving Emotions" and "Father of Lies", here in different versions from their debut album 'The Sanctuary'
SPELLBOUND: "Seducer", "Love Taker" and "Passion Kills", in same versions as the 'Breaking the Spell' album.
SHED: the lesser known band on this compilation but for sure one of the better. Contributes with the two fantastic songs "Wisdom Train" and "The Heater is Hot". Perfect melodic/FWOSHM!. To bad no information comes with the compilation, only a bandphoto + the tracktitles. I am not aware of any other recordings by the band. Doing a search at Google didn't gave much. So please, if someone have any info on SHED... get in touch!

This is all in Swedish, I am sorry all you non-swedish speaking people out there. Studio Skrän was a broadcast on Swedish Radio from Växjö in the mid 80's with Pär Fontander and Marianne Kristensson as hosts. The program focused on the Swedish hard rock and contained, in addition to music, also interviews with various artists.
This is taken from two different broadcasts aired in 1985. Contains interviews with Spellbound, Trash, Stitch, Anders Tegner and Annika Sundbaum-Melin. Also music from bands such as Universe, Six Feet Under, Heavy Load, Stitch, Leviticus, Biscaya, Trouble, Steel Arrows and more!. Enjoy!. When Kjelle Wallén quit as Universe's vocalist Janne Åström took over, and with the band he wrote and recorded a lot of songs but unfortunately they just ended up as demos and no official releases. I need some help here to get hold of these recordings, if you have any of them please get in touch (also any older demos & live recordings are more than welcomed!)
