Excalibur recorded a demo together in 1984, which only today came to the ligh thanks to Dies Irae Record who released it on vinyl (limited to 500 copies). The music is typical Metal of the beginning of the 80s, which later was named NWOBHM. Back then Betinho went with the recordings to England to get a contract. But even "Ebony records" which released exactly this kind of music, did not like Portuguese lyrics! The legend goes, that people there said "go back to the jungle"!! The band already split up in 1985. The bass player Servulo Sotto later founded Kalevala. More info here
