VALENZE was formed October 1980 as ZENDRAGH and rehearsed on Sågargatan in Gimo. After some line-up changes they moved to "Kåken" on Folketshusgatan and became VALENZE. They was actually kinda big in the 80's and toured all over Sweden in cities as Östhammar, Uppsala, Gimo, Öregrund, Bållnäs, Gävle, Stockholm, Lysekil, Norrköping and Motala. They also did the opening-act for Marie Fredriksson of ROXETTE at one of her concerts. In 1990 they did a 3-day tour in Estonia together with a band called STRING.
For me this is a kinda cool release as the band are from my home-town!. VALENZE are still active today (as a cover-band) and are playing live at pubs around here from time to time.
