A rarity from the PLATINA PL series discography (same as DEPZON, SACRIFICE, JACKWAVE etc.) Recorded May/April 1986 in Linköpings Studiocenter. Produced / engineered by Mikael Pålsson and Tommy Ljunggren. Photo by Mikael Fransson. A promo-video was recorded for the song "Take Cover" sponsored by TBV, however it's unknown if it was released to the public or not. Peter "Skinnet" Olsson played the role as satans son. HEADFORCE also contributed with the song "Rock in the City" on the 'Kvalité (1990)' compilation, featuring the new vocalist Tommy Adolfsson (ex-HINDORF from the 'Motala Vindar' comp).

The recordings of a single was the price given to the top 5 finalists in the Rock Karusellen competition. SILVER WINGS competed against PARAYLYCE, RA, W.E.T. and DR. DICK for the 1st prize. SILVER WINGS won and later released this 7" (More Info). They also attended ROCK-SM this year and went on to the finals. Their song "In the Night" was later featured on the 'Double Up ROCK-SM (1987)' compilation. SILVER WINGS also had the songs "Take My Hand" on the 'Projekt 12 (1987)' compilation and "Green Motion" on the 'Musik För Miljon (1990)' comp. (which was their last recording).
SILVER WINGS also recorded a demo in 1985.

Background Info (taken from the "Dogshit" video posted at Youtube):
Heavy Metal band from Forshaga, Sweden, formed in 1988 by Peter Wallgren and Ronnie Österberg (both now in the heavy metal band DEVILSTONE), in this early stage a handful of different members came and went and the line-up was of rather loose character. After a while Per Wallgren and Tobias Gustafsson from the more established heavy metal band SYRUS joined the band as well as the guitar ace John Lundqvist.
In August 1991 Jonas Wikström (ex-ANGEL HEART) replaced John Lundqvist and this line-up recorded a four track demo in 1992. At this point EUREKA had a lot of gigs in their part of Sweden, among them the first "Arvikafestivalen" in 1992, but as the Death Metal scene escalated in the early 90s EUREKA found it hard to compete with the more extreme acts, and the group disbanded in 1994.
